The Acute Care Nursing Assistant program consists of 80 hours of instruction and is designed to prepare Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) for employment in an acute care setting or facility.
The course provides a comprehensive review of nursing assistant skills with emphasis on acute care units such as medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, and orthopedic. This training program includes both classroom and clinical instructions.
Requirements:
CNA Certification
CPR Card
Physical Exam and T.B. Test
Diploma/ Certificate: Acute Care Certification for CNAs
Post Graduate Opportunities
Work in acute care settings like hospitals, sub-acute units and skilled nursing facilities, work with high-acuity patients in different health care settings.
