Home Health Aide (HHA)
Course Description
The Home Health Aide (HHA) program is a 40 hour program for existing CNAs to pursue their careers in the growing industry of Home Health Care. HHAs help seniors with their basic care needs in the comfort of their homes. This course includes a combination of theory classes and clinical experience. The entire course is conducted by professional & experienced faculty with years of teaching experience in allied health science.
Home Health Aides are allowed to perform basic health-related tasks, such as checking a patient’s temperature, pulse rate, and monitoring vital signs, but the majority of their shift is usually spent assisting clients with their personal care.

Pre-requisites
- Current CNA license or proof of passing the State exam
- Social Security Card
- CPR Certification*
- Current TB Test
